European Parliament urged to ban food colours |

ASECO urges the members of the European Parliament support to the written declaration by MEPs Christel Schaldemose, Linda McAvan, Arlene McCarthy, Heide Rühle and Åsa Westlund. on 'Azo food colours and Quinoline Yellow which are hazardous to human health'. The declaration calls on the European Commission and Council to prohibit the food colours to ensure that European health policy focuses on the prevention of disease, especially for children. |
